Network cable and connection
Date - 5/feb/2019
hi friends today we discuss a new topic for network communication and connection and connection cable and other things like that WiFi, lifi, etc
Network Cables:
Networking cables are networking hardware used toconnect one network device to other network devices or to connect two or more
computers to share printers, scanners etc. Different types of network cables, such
as coaxial cable, optical fiber cable, and twisted pair cables, are used depending on
the network's physical layer, topology, and size.

Distributors:
A computer can be connected to another one via a serial port
but if we need to connect many computers to produce a network, this serial
but if we need to connect many computers to produce a network, this serial
connection will not work. The solution is to use a central body to which other
computers, printers, scanners etc. can be connected and then this body will manage or distribute network traffic....................................................................................................................................................................
Network Card:
Network card is a necessary component of a computer without which a computercannot be connected over a network. It is also known as network adapter or Network
Interface Card (NIC). Most branded computers have network card pre-installed.
Network cards are of two types : Internal and External Network Cards.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Internal Network Card:
Motherboard has a slot for internal network card where it is to be inserted. Internalnetwork cards are of two types in which first type uses Peripheral Component
Interconnect (PCI) connection while the second type uses Industry Standard
Architecture (ISA). Network cables are required to provide network access.
External Network Card: External network cards come in two flavours :
Wireless and USB based.Wireless network card need to be inserted into the motherboard but no network cable is required to connect to network

Universal Serial Bus (USB)
USB card are easy to use and connect via USB port. Computers automatically detect USB
card and can install the drivers required to support the USB network card automatically.

Wireless Fidelity:(Wi-Fi)
(Inventors: Terence Percival, Terence Percival, Diethelm Ostry,John O'Sullivan, Graham Daniels, John Deane.) is defined as an abbreviation for wireless
fidelity, meaning you can access or connect to a network using radio waves, without needing
to use wires. An example of Wi-Fi is when you go to Starbucks and can join on their network
to get on the Internet without having to connect your computer to any wires. WiFi is a
technology that uses radio waves to provide network connectivity. A WiFi connection is
established using a wireless adapter to create hotspots - areas in the vicinity of a wireless
router that are connected to the network and allow users to access internet services.

Light Fidelity (Li-Fi):
Li-fi is a bidirectional, high-speed and fully networkedwireless communication technology similar to Wi-Fi. Li Fi is a wireless optical
networking technology that uses light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for data transmission. LiFi
is designed to use LED light bulbs similar to those currently in use in many energy conscious
homes and offices. ... Benefits of LiFi: Higher speeds than Wi-Fi. 10000 times
the frequency spectrum of radio. The Li-Fi technology was originated in 2011 by German
physicist Harald Haas.

Bandwidth: Also defined as the amount of data that can be transmitted in
a fixed amount of time. For digital devices, the bandwidth is usually expressed
in bits per second(bps) or bytes per second. For analog devices, the bandwidth
is expressed in cycles per second, or Hertz (Hz). Bandwidth of Internet- When
referring to a data connection, bandwidth, communication speed, or connection
speed is the total maximum transfer rate of a network cable or device.
Essentially, it is a measurement of how fast data can be sent over a wired or
wireless connection, usually measure in bits per second.
